Tolaini behoort tot één van de beste wijnbedrijven van Italië en dat terwijl hun prijzen vlijmscherp zijn. Tijdens een "blindproeverij" in de VS door 12 sommeliers kwamen drie wijnen van hun als ene beste uit de bus, boven de befaamde Masseto en Sassicaia wijnen.
